Début Author Challenge 2012

Inspired by The Debut Author Challenge Arc Tour site for début authors in the US we at UK Book Tours have decided to make as many debut titles as possible accessible to a larger number of participants than UKBT tours are usually open to.

In the case of début titles the tours will be highlighted by one of The Story Siren's beautiful  buttons (as above) and we will relax tour rules in the following way:

1) You don't have to be an established book blogger to participate. You do not even have to have a blog.

You must place your reviews on Goodreads or Amazon and share the link to your review in the linky at the bottom of each tour post (as well as taking care to add your review link to the US site).

We will be accepting up to 20 participants on each tour. You will be notified by email within 7 days if you have been accepted for the tour. 

Participants are chosen, as with all UKBT tours, using a random number generator.

Due to the increased number of participants the time in which to read any book on a debut tour will be decreased to 7 days instead of 14.

You must email the admin team to notify receipt/posting of a book.

You must obtain proof of postage.

Due to the speed at which we wish to move the debut tours along, as well as the increased number of participants, should you disregard any of the above information you will be removed from future debut tours.  While other tours allow more leeway, debut tours will operate a one strike and you're out policy.  If you are already on our black list (you know who you are) you are not eligible to sign up for any tours - debut or otherwise.  Please do not try.

The usual rules regarding politeness and respect apply. Remember the admin team do not get paid  to run the tours. We do it in order to share our love of books, we may not always be able to get back to you as soon as we would like, please be patient.
